Assembly Compounds

These compounds contain a high percentage of Mos2 and are designed to assist in the assembly of close fitting components like plain bearings, shafts and splines; also ideal for the pre-treatment of interference fits such as inserting anti-friction bearings into their housings.

Assembly compounds also aid running in, overcome problems of fretting corrosion, and act as an anti-seize material to aid dismantling of treated static componenets such as pulley shafts and splines.

Anti-Seize Compounds

These compounds contain a high percentage of lubricating solids in a non melting grease. Dependent upon the application and the parts to be treated, Copper, Mos2, Graphite, Aluminium and Nickel containing compound are available. These anti-seize lubricants protect threaded parts subject to high temperatures (up to 1100°C.), and chemical and saturated environments.

Foodshield Assembly Grease

A white, non-toxic grease-like compound with a high solids lubricant content designed for use as an assembly lubricant for lubricating bushes, sliding surfaces and small open plastic or metal gears. Also suitable as a foodgrade anti-seize compound for threaded fasteners. (NSF H1 Registered)
