ANDREW JONES

The Ironsides Lubricants Ltd has recently recruited a dedicated Export Business Development Manager. Mr. Andrew Jones has been training at Ironsides Lubricants Stockport site during the last two months and he is now looking forward to developing Ironsides Lubricants export business.

Andrew has a wealth of experience in export sales, having travelled extensively during his previous employment and with a strong technical background in the power transmission and engineering industries, Andrew successfully undertook the role of International Business Development Manager, responsible for all global exports sales.

Andrew comment’s “the lubricants industry was an attractive development for my career, as my understanding of engineering applications and experience will be very important when trying to assist customers in finding the correct grease products for their requirements”.

Andrew enjoyed playing semi professional rugby league for Hull Kingston Rovers and Beverley RLFC. Since his retirement Andrew has shown a keen interest in business and sales, completing a business degree course to further his knowledge and expertise. In his spare time Andrew likes to keep fit and spending time with family and friends.

He is keen to start work on finding and developing new opportunities for Ironsides Lubricants in export markets around the world and is very much looking forward to the challenge.

The Ironsides Lubricants Ltd have just installed and commissioned a brand new 4000kg capacity Auto-Clave. This additional pressure vessel will give the company an increase in manufacturing capacity and much greater flexibility.

The Auto-Clave will also allow Ironsides Lubricants Ltd to manufacture a Calcium Sulphonate Grease which is much sought after in the industrial market and used extensively in the steel industry.

The investment follows an additional new contactor which was installed last year in line with Ironsides Lubricants Ltd continued investment and expansion plans to help move Ironsides Lubricants forward into new overseas markets. The future is very positive and demonstrates the company’s ambitions to become a large global player in the manufacture of high quality grease products.

Ironsides Lubricants Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of new extreme performance lithium complex grease. This new grade is manufactured on high viscosity base oil, and fortified using the latest additive technology including, Anti Wear, Anti Oxidant and Corrosion protection. This helps to give the grease exceptional performance characteristics including extended lubrication cycles especially under arduous conditions, high temperatures and heavy loading. This grease has shown incredible performance under load and surpasses 550kg weld load under 4 ball testing. This product is also available in a striking new decorated cartridge design as shown below.

Lithium Complex HV is available in all pack sizes, the cartridges are packed in boxes of 12 or 36. Full corrosion protection of working surfaces to reduce component wear, resists water washout to ensure extended lubricant service life. Lithium Complex HV also offers good sealing properties to protect against ingress of dirt and dust in harsh environments this helps to extend component life. Heavy base oil (ISO 460) gives greater film strength at slow speeds, and at elevated temperatures. This also gives the grease a better resistance to oxidation at high temperatures improving its longevity, and therefore increasing re-lubrication intervals and reducing lubrication costs.

Lithium Complex HV is the ideal lubricating grease for heavy plant industries such as quarries and the steel industry. Offshore applications and dockside equipment are also well suited to this product.
