Old News - Retirement

Ironsides Lubricants Ltd announce the retirement of Mr. Mike Hynes as Managing Director from 1^st July 2009. Over the last 17 years, Mike has progressed from Operations Manager to Manager Director with Ironsides Lubricants.  Mike has overseen significant investment in Ironsides plant and the continual growth of sales to raise the company as the largest grease manufacturer in the UK.

Before joining Ironsides Lubricants, Mike held key roles within Mobil Oils and the Freedom Group in the UK and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within the lubricants market. Mike is a well known figure with the European lubricants industry through many years representing the company at various trade and industry conventions both in the UK and overseas.

Mike will remain as a Director of the company but plans to fill his retirement with the occasional game of golf and spending more time with his family.

Mark Barker, currently Ironsides Lubricants Sales Director will succeed Mike as Managing Director from July. Mark joined the company in 2002, and has enjoyed successful roles in Ironsides sales both in domestic and export markets.

Mark would, on behalf and the whole team at Ironsides Lubricants like to thank Mike for his hard work over the last 17 years and wishes Mike a long and enjoyable retirement.
